Character Information

Name: Cameron Sauvage
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Physical Description: He looks like some kind of punk university kid that would probably be too poor to buy gourmet waffle sandwiches every day. To be specific, he's approximately 178cm (5'10"), but has a small frame for a guy. His hair is black, but it shines a bit brown in the sunlight. His eyes are a deep maroon red and resembles the color of wine. He is your everyday normal young man in casual wear. Comfortable clothes with only a dash of fashion sense make up most of his attire since he isn't anywhere fancy or edgy.

World:
Cameron's world is based very much on our modern earth. Monuments, states, figures are all the same or at least similar, but there are some make believe cities such as his hometown. Otherwise, general culture stays intact. The only difference between our world and his is mechanics, specifically in his hometown. This town is solely different due to the amount of these "Ancients" that settled in. Due to the large population at that time, they have created their own community and traditions that run deep into the town itself. This creates a spiritual connection with the land to its native residents and their descendants. It would also explain their sudden problems when they are away from home.

In this town, citizens are plagued by an interesting phenomenon that indirectly plays a role in their daily lives. "True" residents are descendants of the "natives" (also called the Ancients) in this town. There are many "pack" references in the story. A good amount that the town is largely depicted as wolves maybe because wolves actually play a big part in the town's history as a symbol. The Ancients were closely related to the animal as well, but it isn't confirmed in the story if the Ancients are literal wolves. However, it is heavily implied.

"True" residents are actively affected by:
  • Separation anxiety disorder
  • Xenophobia
  • Pecking order
  • Merged subconscious
  • Abnormal sense of smell
  • Insatiable hunger away from home
These symptoms are generally kicked under the rug for obvious tourist reasons. How else would they gain wealth? Still, these underlying symptoms exist though levels of intensity would be dependent on the individual.

The Ancients knew each other so well--as if connected. This trait is passed down to their descendants as well. The merged subconscious manifests in dreams during tragic times. It is divided into five "dream" phases as they only occur during one's lucid dream. Only a few can achieve this state of consciousness; many are not aware at all. Despite this phenomenon only being shared by a select few, there is something about this town where everyone's dreams were always connected. It was only after the second tragedy within the decade did these dreams intertwine. This created a cluster of subconscious emotions that takes form as a different kind reality, mostly a narration. The five phases that usually occur are termed diagnosis, etiology, prognosis, prescription, and judgment.

Those "awake" in these dreams can possibly find the answer or the culprit to certain murders. That is if they choose to put the information to use in reality. Unfortunately, like dreams, information from the phases may be useless, misleading, and/or inaccurate.

History: SUICIDE MENTION WARNING!!
Cameron Sauvage lived a normal life for quite some time. The only thing that was worth mentioning was that he was the son of a well-known couple--at least until they got a divorce. His mother was popular with the community as being sweet and resourceful while his father was praised for his corporate success. It seemed that things didn't work out in the end and they separated without reaching an emotional conclusion. Cameron was about thirteen years old at that time, but he knew for a year or two how it was going to end--his father would leave and create a brand new family. Three years after his parent's divorce, his mother committed suicide. Only leaving him a short note of apologies, he was sent to be raised by his aunt and uncle out of state until he graduated high school. It was his mother's choice to let him be raised by his relatives due to their distance from the town. She thought that it would give him a better opportunity compared to a stressful life with the town's expectations and gossip. Likewise, she didn't leave him with his father because his father lived in the town. He left everything behind--his friends, his home, and his girlfriend that broke up with him for logical reasons. His girlfriend couldn't support him at that moment let alone a long distance. The mourning period passed for him after half a year. Quite short, but his relatives made it easier to get comfortable. It also helped that no one knew about his mother's death there unlike back home where absolutely everyone knew and gave him as much pity as they could. News spread like wildfire since the community was close-knit.

In the end, he turned out fine though the reason for his mother's suicide haunted him once in a while. He did notice a that he had a bigger appetite farther away from home.

He decided to return to his hometown for a prominent psychology program after he finished his GEDs. That was only half the reason--he also wanted to return "home". He took lodging at his old home that was accompanied by a large, low hanging eastern redbud that covered the front of the house a little too well. He was genuinely surprised that it was kept alive. Actually, the whole front yard was maintained as if someone was living there. No one was living there, but he discovered that his mother's friends have been taking care of the house. Well, the outside... Inside was just dust and left untouched over the years of no inhabitants. Cameron proved to be an individual that most would say was hard to approach due to his indifferent demeanor, but the town greeted him warmly as if he was always part of their community despite his departure. He even caught up with old friends within only three days of moving in. It was what he would call warm, comfortable, and peaceful. The town radiated that atmosphere until three weeks into his education program.

A tragedy fell upon the town on the night of the full moon. Someone in the small town was murdered. It wasn't someone he knew... And he didn't feel all too involved. Cameron felt it was best to leave it to police as they were investigating the crime scene. Despite his personal feelings about the case, patients always brought up the event. Whether it was small details or some kind of uneasiness, it seemed to be on everyone's minds. That was normal, he thought. With such a peaceful and friendly town, it must have been hard to believe that someone did something like this. It was even worse if it was someone they welcomed into their community. Nevertheless, Cameron went on with his work and studies until something peculiar happened. His sleeping schedule started become wonky--sleeping way more than necessary, but never feeling well-rested. He wasn't alone. Many of the town residents were being affected for the most part.

He didn't think too much of it until he dreams a strange sequence of events. These dreams are divided into phases:

phase 1: diagnosis
DAY 1. It started with a bunny-eared, heterochromiac merchant asking for something in particular. Cameron listened intently, but what he asked for was「      」. Apparently, Cameron did not possess「      」and the merchant abandoned him. Cameron was left in what seemed like a sunlit garden of hyacinths. With grand arches laced with vines, it was quite the sight. Not only that, it seemed that there was always a hosted tea party at noon "every day" as said by the flowers.

Yes, the flowers spoke. Well, more like sang.

They welcomed him to their garden with elated voices, but somehow ignored all of his questions about his whereabouts and the merchant. He shrugged it off and decided to play along. They continuously invited him to this tea party in each dream during the five days despite how he mentioned he would join. During the first party, he met familiar faces. Lucian and Levaen, twins of his childhood, sat across from each other at the table. While Lucian adorned a grumpy look, his sister remained calm and refined. They welcome his visit though Lucian, like the one in reality, showed slight disdain toward Cameron.

He asked them about this place and the merchant. Of course, they didn't know anything about the merchant. They do, however, answer that this place was their「home」. Not the twins' home, but everyone's「home」. Giving suspicious looks at each other, they blurted that Cameron must have forgotten like he always did.「Home」was where he belonged.

"You should have never left," was what they said in unison during the first party.

DAY 2. Cameron returned to the garden, but he noticed there was a large door across the table. It was mysterious... Foreboding. It was obvious that he was being called to open it, but then he heard a familiar voice nearby. It was another old friend of his with a girly name, Mariko. Mariko was his age and they have always kept in contact after the move. He was known for his cheerful disposition. Not the smartest, but he was reliable. Mariko mentioned that he slept in and didn't get to attend the tea party yesterday. Asking for Cameron's forgiveness, they take a seat at the table. No one else joined that day...

Cameron asked about the door, but it only made Mariko stall and stutter. Eventually, he fessed that it led to a dimension of darkness. It was where「outsiders」came from. Cameron didn't understand the sentiment and only gazed upon the mysterious door.

"You're not allowed to open it!" was what Mariko said during the second party.

DAY 3. On the third day, he met another friend of his at the tea party. His name was Key and he looked bored with the customs of tea parties. Munching on a simple biscuit, he saluted to Cameron's arrival. Key was a little older. Already have graduated, he was in the midst of climbing up the social ladder. Cameron heard, however, that Key fell back onto running a family business instead of pursuing his dream career. What it was, he didn't ask.

It didn't seem like anyone else was coming today... Something Cameron did notice was that some of the flowers were withering. They looked fine the other dream, so he didn't ask about it. Instead, he asked Key if anyone else was joining them. Key answered that he wasn't sure--maybe they were busy in town.

Town?

"Yeah. For being one of us, you don't know your「home」too well."

DAY 4. On the fourth day, the garden was empty once more. Cameron couldn't help but inch close to the ominous forbidden door. Fortunately, before he laid his fingertips on it, he heard a peppy voice. It was a girl... She looked familiar, but he couldn't come up with her name right away. With black long hair and auburn eyes, she also possessed a petite frame. Her hair was elegant and went well with the short red cloak she wore.

She asked if Cameron was returning「home」. He answered "yes" without being too sure... He just went along with it. After that, he wondered if they were going to have the party by themselves. Right away, the girl answered him with a stern tone.

"You are not alone," she said as she sipped her tea.

Eventually, he heard the footsteps of others and some incoherent words. It sounded like a conversation that was getting closer. Soon, he saw the same people from previous days and they asked if he was ready to come back.

"Welcome 「home」, Cameron."

DAY 5. On the fifth day, the opposite door opened to the inner world. The welcoming party and initiation ended, leaving Cameron to explore the topsy-turvy dimension. In this place, the houses towered like trees--actually they were made of trees. There were vine stairs that escalated around them and to the sky. It was quite the sight... There was a lot of people as well--all lively and bustling with productivity.

All was well except he noticed something strange here, too. There were houses and alleys that seemed plagued. It was as if they were eroding away. While his friends disbursed due to their own agendas, the girl in the red hood decided to accompany him and give him a tour. She continued to mention that it had been a long time since he was back and that he should get used to everything right away.

phase 2: etiology
DAY 6. There was a disease slowly infecting the citizens, turning them into shadow beasts. It was a slow transition that appears to be cured over time. Rumors that this disease was brought by an 「outsider」. Cameron asked to see the victims and if there was anything he could do. Key only mentioned to bring flowers to them. Following his advice, Cameron bought flowers from Key's store for a little girl with the disease. When he gave her the flowers and spent some time, she mentioned that her dad went through the big door in the garden and never came back. Now she had five boxes stacked in her house. Cameron didn't understand what that means, but did his best to cheer her up in the mean time. This was his first day where he stayed long enough to see it end and notice that the sun and moon changed places in the sky.

DAY 7. Cameron woke up to the garden for a tea party with the rabbit merchant once more. The merchant asked him the same question about 「      」 and stated that only 「      」 would change anything. It was the only thing that could fight off 「fate」. Cameron only replied with a question about the merchant's interest in this object. The merchant said it wasn't an object at all--it was an essence. The bunny merchant continued to talk about other things, mostly about his sales in the outside world. Cameron indulged him and asked about his journey. It seemed that the world outside wasn't as scary as everyone painted it to be. Rambling on, the merchant also explained the reason why he was here. He said that they were planning to open brand new markets to this town and reap the benefits of the town's unique flowers--that was what the merchant's "bunny boss" told him.

phase 3: prognosis
DAY 8. Those with more towering boxes are more likely to come in contact with the disease. A close neighbor, Kael, fell ill though his stack of boxes is short. This implied that there was something else--possibly an instigator or a catalyst. Authorities searched the town up and down for clues, but left the boxes untouched. Cameron didn't remember there being a tower at his house. The twins tell him that each box is a stack of pain. Some could see it, some couldn't, and sometimes one couldn't see their own.

He took this time to go to the town's library to read, but all the stories were about fairy tales. Half of the books also have some kind of occult theme. Nothing on history. There was several themes relating to 「home」 and banding together to fight off evil.

DAY 9. The reality was that everyone Was infected by now. The「outsider」 settled in for quite some time, or that was the rumor. They must have cloaked themselves well or that someone was hiding them. Cameron took his time to care for those suffering in the few clinics/hospitals around. The biggest facility looked like the tree in front of his house. The girl in the red hood accompanied and told him that he was a kind person. She also shared stories of her contributions as a morale booster. Giving him encouragement, she was sure that they would find the end to this. She gave some information of her own past. Her father took her and her mother away from this town to find "bigger" and "better" things. She always felt the need to return and believe that she owed to the community that helped raise her when her parents couldn't. Cameron felt that he could relate.

He encountered Lucian on his way back home. Being a greeted by only a glare, Cameron did his best to be supportive. It was dark times in the town, so he understood why the other man would be in a bad mood. Lucian then mentioned that everything started going wrong when Cameron returned. The door had been opening on its own nowadays, but it was with the permission of The Council. Cameron didn't even know there was a council of any kind, but before he could ask more, Lucian hastily took his leave.

DAY 10. Cameron heard complaints about the bunnies that have been invading their town as of recent. He had been wondering if maybe the bunnies were the 「outsiders」, but Mariko explained that they're special workers. It made completely no sense at all, but Cameron guessed it was just how dreams worked. Mariko was fidgety today, but Cameron shrugged it off. It faded away once Mariko mentioned that Cameron's boxes were stacked pretty high. Cameron couldn't see them. He chose to visit an old couple because they have been showing symptoms far too stressful on their crippling bodies. They also wanted to see him since it was so long ago since they've last seen him. The elder couple directed Cameron to this medicinal flower that will heal them, but it's at the highest tops of the trees.

Cameron looked for someone who maybe had flower gathering as their profession (he questioned himself at this point) only to be told by Levaen that it was something anyone could do (made him feel pretty dumb). She passed him some tree climbing tools--they looked more like mountain climbing tools, but whatever. Even in a dream, Cameron wasn't the fittest, so he had his general doubts. The girl in the red hood decided to join since having more flowers was better than none. They reach the top and from there they could see beyond the walls. It's too dark to see anything too clearly, but the flowers beautifully glowed. Levaen randomly spoke about her distaste for the outside world because it was filled with horrible people. The girl in red meekly stood by her opinion that they could't be bad. This brought tension between the two and Cameron decided to stay out of it. He instantly changed the topic.

He delivered the flowers to the elderly couple, but he was too late for one of them. They passed on during his time away. The wife told Cameron to leave her be for a while. He thought that he heard a large growl from a large animal from her voice, but concluded he must be hearing things. As he left, he heard many voices on his way all talking about the old man that died. Some said it was already his time, others said it must have been the 「outsider」. The last whisper he heard said that maybe Cameron was the 「outsider」.

phase 4: prescription
DAY 11. There was something different about the town. It appeared like the towering trees were misplaced and there were stacks of boxes that reached the sky--creating a sort of maze. Fortunately, it wasn't tightly put together. There were several openings here and there, but Cameron found it hard to find anyone let alone his own home. The day was darker than usual at that time. Everything seemed... Entirely off even for a dream. It was then he heard a girl's scream. It was Lacy and she was running away from a mob of people.

They were angry and all talking at once. She merely ran behind Cameron and told them they had to go. It seemed that she was seeing something different from him. She continued to mention that the pack was gaining on them. A pack? Of what? Cameron only saw people, but she saw something else. She continued to tell him that they had to escape the maze--escape this town. She led him to the large door in the garden. He recalled their warnings that he shouldn't open the door, but she said it was their only way out. It was the only freedom from the clutches of the "wolves". It lit a light bulb in Cameron's head--the fairy tales from the library were primarily based on the woods... The wolves... the evil. It was obvious. The girl in the red hood was his half-sister, Laciella (Lacie for short). If he remembered correctly, the news covered it as his father had an affair with an employee from another branch. There may have been more to it, but he tried not to look into it. Though his father had long history in this town, he and his new wife had no "place" here.

If he belonged to this place--if he were one of them, what should he have done? She was still his sister... And he wasn't completely accepted either if they shared the same father. Would the town turn on him, too? His body moved on its own and he reached toward the door to open it. Saving her wasn't the only reason for opening it. Cameron also wanted to know what was wrong with these people. What outside was so dangerous?

What was behind the door wasn't an exit, but a hallway with mirrors. At the end was the largest mirror and it reflected the true appearance of the town, "a pack of wolves" attacking a young lady. Cameron, too, was no different. The mirror played back all the animosity he held for his mother for taking her life, his father for leaving him, and Lacie for just being born.

DAY 12. This day was the haziest of all dreams. It was only a short burst of memories and incoherent thoughts of the town. Generally hard to decipher, if not droning. The only thing one would be sure about was that this cluster was not of positive feelings. It had to do with a red cloak, a white bunny, and an abyssal hole.

phase 5: judgment
Cameron had to decide what was 「      」. Only in figuring out what was 「      」 would he be able to prevent another tragedy or cause a new one. In reality, it wasn't something that only he was missing, but the rest of the town as well. If he were to figure out what was 「      」 within the time given, he would have figured out the puzzle that can free the town from its box maze. While Cameron had some power, he wasn't alone in being able to determine the path the town would take.

If, perhaps, they didn't come to the same conclusion then it would be of no avail. Cameron was one of the few that believed that they were lacking 「mercy」.

Since that was his answer, he was shown the scenario where the town, including himself, was truly lacking 「mercy」. The town forced him to be the one that deal with Lacie, the 「outsider」, and he followed through. What they did was too cruel for Cameron to completely remember, but it was an act of true malice. This act alone was what he and his mother owed to the town for their betrayal of a forbidden love with the outside world.

Actual days between the phases were lived normally (if not in a daze) though Cameron would always be found at the town library looking for something. To be quite honest, even he didn't know what he was looking for. There were many chunks of the phases he doesn't even completely remember.

Though Cameron had some idea of what the dreams (or what pieces he remembers) might have meant, he merely brushed it off. It couldn't have been more was what he thought until one day he heard the sirens after a long nap. It was a girl, Lacie, that had been murdered in such a way similar to his foggy dream... For some reason, no one was shocked. It was tossed under the rug as possibly a small business owner wanting to get revenge on the corporation that might replace many stores in this town. That he knew well, but what bothered him that the image was far too familiar--like deja vu.

He tried to brush it off because he never did actually meet Lacie. Still, as days passed by from her death, there was something nagging at him. Her case closed so quickly and the town didn't make such an uproar like the previous crimes. Lacie was the daughter of a prestigious businessman. It has to hold some kind of media value, but it only ran on television for a week. Truth be told, her death haunted him more than it did the town and secluded him from his friends and the rest of the community. He eventually came to the conclusion that he must have somehow influenced this.

The truth about everything was that he was always alone. Even though it seemed like what he did was justified because she was an「outsider」, he could have never felt「home」. No company nor comfort could have saved him from his drop into melancholy and senseless guilt. There wasn't any way he could have influenced (let alone prevented) the murder, but in his mind he already believed that he had some kind of involvement. Just because he didn't remember didn't change the fact that somehow everyone (maybe including himself) wasn't surprised. Even if they weren't consciously aware, it was their actions that spoke the loudest. Everyone gave him the look of approval and the subtle promise of silence.

There was no point to go to authorities. Why would they believe that these dreams of his foretold the murder? He would sound like a lunatic. Though life continued on, the whole ordeal ate him up inside and the only sense of redemption he found was in his own punishment. Merely holing himself up, physically and mentally, he withered away in his petal-covered「home」.

Previous Game History: --

Personality:
Cameron is shown mostly as one with little expression and words. Most believe that it's just merely a professional facade, something meant for propriety's sake. In actuality, he isn't the best person in the theatrical department... He probably only knows four expressions at most. It makes him come off as aloof and sometimes outlandish as his expressions don't match his actions. He actually goes through a lot of emotions, but does what he can to be in control of himself. He doesn't allow himself dwell nor get too emotionally involved with work and the like. This is because he believes that it's easier to understand others this way. Cameron is the type of person that would rather listen than talk. Some wonder with such a blank face if he's even really listening.

It's not to say that he's incapable of being sympathetic. It's quite the opposite. Cameron isn't one to seriously judge others for their decisions--he wants to be understanding. This constitutes for his laid-back demeanor. As said before, his actions covey his intentions more than his facial expressions. His actions would portray him as a kind person to those that need that shoulder to lean on. You can say that he does what he can to be what anyone needs him to be, but only in good will. Though quiet and hard to read, Cameron has a strong sense of morality. While he accepts others for their deeds, he doesn't try to justify and support them in their actions. He does what he can to stay out of trouble if it's possible. Despite that, he is generally trusting. Even with people he hasn't seen for years, he doesn't find any reason to doubt them. Fortunately, it isn't enough to override his common sense, but it can lead to his downfall. He is merely human after all.

Though he seems extremely open, there's this distance he puts between himself and other people including his friends. Levaen, his ex-girlfriend, breaks up with him due to physical barriers, but it's also because she can barely endure the invisible barrier that is put up when they're together. Lucian, Levaen's twin brother and Cameron's friend, has always been against the relationship because Cameron won't put in the effort most boyfriends would. His relationships, though good, are also shallow. There's no one he can call his "best friend". Most of his friends generally like him, but they won't say they're super close. They're tied through mutual interests. He has read plenty of books on healthy and intimate relationships, but the idea isn't exactly ingrained into his mind. Living without either of his parents and believing to be a burden to his relatives, he prefers to keep to himself but also keeps himself available. He approaches people more now that he moved back to his hometown, but he keeps certain thoughts and personal information to himself. He just pleases people without thinking too much into it and that's what pisses off Lucian the most. Cameron doesn't usually say no if it's on a personal level and the request isn't totally out there. Even if he isn't interested, he will force himself to do it.

Cameron suppresses all negative tendencies for the sake of his and his mother's image. His mother is a true volunteer of the community--someone that is responsible, reliable, and gentle. She is someone he looks up to like the North Star. He does take after some of her traits, but he is his own person. How nice it would have been if he could have just picked the positive traits of both of his parents. Cameron has a sharp tongue that he only unleashes when he's off duty. To be quite honest, you can call him a natural snarker. Behind comforting words is a curious and mischievous person. It's obvious from the beginning that he has interests in the door and the outside world, even though everyone warned him not to open it. Unlike the rest of the residents of his town, he wants to travel. This shows that he has an adventurous side. Aside from that, those that meet him out of office playfully describe him as a demon or a problem child much to his dismay. It isn't that Cameron has a bad temper, he can just happen to be unruly. The smallest things can peeve him and he sometimes can't deal with it all too well, but at least he's also easily amused. There are many cases where he shows signs of being obstinate and silly. Generally, he shows slight acrimony towards one that has slighted him aka he can be passive-aggressive. It goes to show even those that look and act mature can be simply childish depending on the situation.

Still, he keeps all of that covered up along with the issues that bother him. Despite how he works hard on painting this Picture Perfect Portrait of himself and his family, he holds a lot of grudges. He can forgive, but not forget (so he's basically a fat elephant). Throughout his life he has been haunted by his mother's reason for taking her life. His father also had quite the impact when he walked out of the family. Many people would comment on how he looks a lot like his father and then there's Lacie, his half-sister. Lacie is a reminder that his father probably has a perfect life--that he's enjoying himself without him and his mother. It would be hard not to feel some sense of betrayal and animosity. It reminds him what the tinge of loneliness felt like--it is disgusting. This is the true darkness in his heart. Of course, he feels a never-ending guilt for harboring such feelings. His interaction with Lacie are placated, but his heart feels heavy whenever they talk. There are conflicting feelings where he's envious of her life and how she's actually a good person. His parents decision is also a source of inner turmoil. Despite how he tries to grasp his parents' decisions, he also thinks that his mother's and father's decisions are selfish... Which isn't something he usually says about people. He's someone that believes that one should make decisions for their own well-being before others, but he doesn't follow it himself.

Contradictions truly make up a person and destroy them, but he tries to put distance between him and his emotions. It's obvious from his story that he doesn't deal with guilt well. As much as he wants to "move on" and knows that it's better to, he can never find a way to do so. His version of moving on is ignoring the problem entirely. It shows that he's someone that really clings and easily gets attached. In reality, he's quite fragile. The simplest words can probably make him crumble, but he can't let that happen. No matter how many times he tells others they need to resolve their conflicts, he's stubborn enough to feel he's above such a remedy. He feels that he can control himself and this darkness, brushing off any help from others. It makes him appear truly stubborn, strong-willed, distant, and dismissive.

It goes to show that aside from counseling sessions, Cameron is an entirely different person. While he's polite and gentle most of the time, there's a dark side that he tries to hide. That part of himself isn't something he acknowledges. Though he might not be conscious of it, he tries his best to keep his true self at bay. Even the harmless parts--the snide comments, the teasing, the pouting--should be kept under the wraps. Partly, it's to mold himself to everyone's needs and replace his mother's empty role in the community. On the other hand, it's also a precaution from getting hurt because he's secretly a crybaby. Cameron is unconsciously wary of others. While he tries to be the person that is easy to approach and easy to open up to, he doesn't allow himself to do the same. While he trusts others, he makes sure to place himself in a position where he doesn't need to rely on them. These simple things show Cameron can be somewhat a manipulative individual.

In the end, Cameron is the person that says he's okay when he isn't, but the problem is that even he isn't aware of his mental state. While he doesn't want to allow himself to "feel" more, he encourages others to revel in their emotions and lead healthy lifestyles. He tries to understand others, but he hasn't given any time to understand himself. It's a blissful yet detrimental type of ignorance. It doesn't change the fact he's still a pretty chill guy either way that enjoys normal things like playing videogames, doodling on his notes, and reading books.

Personality Changes: --

Abilities:
Cameron is self-sufficient. He can take care of himself and possibly another body or two! Aside from the normal human things, Cameron is still a descendant of the Ancients despite only being half (his father is an outsider). He takes after some of their their abilities such as the following:

HYPERSOMIA • basically abnormal/heightened sense of smell

INSTINCT • intuition in a bestial sense. Will be described as the power to "feel" the most favorable developments. In the Ancients, this was strong enough to be considered a sixth sense, but it has watered down quite a bit after centuries. If Cameron was given a grade, his would probably be a B as just being pretty intuitive for a normal person.

QUICK REFLEXES • basically what it sounds.

INSATIABLE HUNGER • away from home, Cameron is plagued with a hunger that isn't easily placated.

Cameron isn't affected by intense separation anxiety/homesickness nor xenophobia precisely because he's half. He only has mild cases. He still has the potential to tap into some other attributes that can be considered dangerous such as heightened strength and other acute senses in extremely drastic measures. Nothing on transforming into a wolf (though this is a debatable trait that is rare in the story), but animalistic behavior is also included. While these are great for self-defense, one can easily go into a state of mania.

All my regrets when I reuploaded my icons...

Third Person Sample:
It was lunchtime in his new school, but he was still a bit disoriented by the new setting. He had so many questions, but he figured it would be easier to find out himself. Despite his set to do list, he was distracted by his empty stomach. From the beginning of the first half of food, he found it hard to focus on the lectures. How were his friends doing? What happened to Lacie? These thoughts were just covered up by this immense hunger. There was to be a quiz next class...

Food first.

In the cafeteria, he picked up some free grub. It makes him kind of sad that cafeteria food from a high school beats his college diet, but he was also grateful. While moving his macaroni and cheese around, he watched the other students around him. They seemed to be adjusting fine, but he could tell from their body language that they were anxious with smiles. Head rested on his chin, he idly let his eyes wander while once in a while bringing a spoonful of macaroni to his mouth. Everything seemed like a dream. Nothing new... It felt similar to home--life was a daze. As he started to doze off, he felt a sharp pain in his mouth. He quickly stopped chewing and reached in to pull out a glass shard.

His brow furrowed as his eyes narrowed on the small, but sharp piece. Tossing it away, he quietly scavenged the rest of his meal for more. What he discovered were a couple of more fragments. His body tensed up, but his face kept the same face. He wouldn't want to cause any trouble for any of these students... Though he couldn't help but wonder if maybe one of them was involved in this? There was a chill than ran down his spine, but ate his macaroni. One carefully examined pasta piece at a time.

Maybe it was just an accident in the kitchen?

Once he meticulously finished his meal, he returned to the line to get seconds. He made sure to watch the cook's hands through the small window that he could see.

"Hey, did something break in there?" He tried to spark up some conversation with this mystery worker. However, his eyes do not leave from the hands that were serving his food.

There was no answer. They just continued on with their work... And it didn't appear too suspicious. Everything was just too eerie, but he didn't push for more answers. He shrugged and thought that he could investigate later in the day when the cooks were gone. Of course, he wasn't going to let this go so easily.

"Can I get an extra carton of milk, too?" He wanted to test if they actually listened.

Squinting a bit, he could see a chef getting an extra carton for him. Everything about this place was so peculiar. Something about it was enticing and exciting... It was a great distraction for what was waiting for him at home. Or was that also a dream? Was this instead reality?

As he tried to articulate the situation and the next course of action, he heard the drop of a tray and the splatter of food. Turning toward the direction of the sound, he saw a student and the toppled over tray all over their uniform. What a waste... Taking his own tray, he brought it over to the poor student's table and placed his food in front of them.

"Don't worry about it." He made sure to bring ten billion napkins and offered it to the other student with a small smile. "I can get another tray later."

"Check for glass though." He quickly and nonchalantly added that comment as he wiped some of the food off of the table.
